about

Recorded on November 11th, 2000 (the night George Bush Jr was "elected" President) from a bill with Mock Orange and Acrobat Down at Lion's Lair in Denver, CO.

Not sure who forwarded me the original CD but I lost it so this version has been uploaded from my mp3 source. And while it's certainly not our best live show, Ed sings well enough and the band is, shall we say, "lively..." It's a pretty fair representation of the original lineup's energy.

One story I remember from the evening was that any gear not onstage was stored with the liquor. At the end of the night we were caught trying to steal beer and were told we'd "never play in this town again."

Any tour story that ends with that line is a story worth retelling...
