1.
Night is thief's forte At loss for words to say: we're terrified Black his light it shines The tool that rectifies, uncovering... We figure with sight Too soon to laugh, you've based it on a photograph Just listen A shape to recognize; to filter out the crime We're terrified. Black his light it shines The tool that rectifies, uncovering...
2.
Red Herring 03:24
A pictured life with Framed to keep but still he needs Can he talk a good game? It's all done wrong--he's still the same The roundabout vagueness plague; Guitar-driven moods he displays Play the chord, hear the ring It's all the rage--it's still the same Today is the day, marked for life Here in which we shine so bright
3.
You Did This 03:52
We're struck by the words That seem to deep to know Oh, it's possible It's all part of the show And I am right This you know Fast enough to observe We've read what we have learned Oh, it's trivial It's all part of the joke And I am right This you know
4.
Truest You 04:42
We were told once to not allow ourselves to care or try Eventhough we hear them say outloud "for sale," It sold to no one Enter fate Machines take place At fast rat's pace You won't mistake There's a time to line up one by one Prepared to sacrifice Now's the time, while we still can run: Preserve the truest you Kid you are in over your head
5.
Here lies the boy with corroded lines Let's begin without steam; the state I'm in... What becomes of him? Cold, dark, sold, starved, blank, terror... He won't allow Trace the bounded stain Will he break the chain?
6.
On your own without sound advice Break, allowed to fall It gets back to you I stand alone here for you Instead, he falls... It's coming back to me Like ancient history Each town with little factories Climb with all your might Take the stride laid leaps Tease fate's outcome: I'm here for you And he runs because he knows... (we'll cut it in)
7.
Follow where? Some people call him strange He always walks alone It's just his state of mind; He always finds his home Your killing time is over It's written on the wall You asking me to change it? Well no... He's leaving. I mean it

about

"I havent heard this album fully but decided to pick up a copy since it was for a penny and its a Crank! A record company release (all time favorite indie label from the 90's) but seems pretty promising after hearing a couple of tracks. The 7 song albun surpasses timing for an EP so this is not a ep. Its around 27-29 minutes long. I also checked the bands other 2 full lengths that were in another great label (Polyvinyl) but those albums didn't hit hard as this one. Really like those dual like vocals on this one" - Gio (August 28, 2014)
